Goal are reporting that Olympique Lyonnais and FC Lorient have reached an agreement over a loan deal for Romain Faivre (24).
According to Goal, Les Merlus will pay €1m for a straight loan deal that would see the Frenchman join until the end of the season. Foot Mercato have added that the fee will be just a little under €1m. Former Stade Brestois forward Faivre will join on a loan deal until the end of the season. There will be no buy option inserted into the deal.
The Breton club have been looking for offensive reinforcements since Dango Ouattara’s departure to Bournemouth earlier this month. There is also a considerable chance that they will lose Terem Moffi before the end of the window with Les Merlus also looking to bring in Bamba Dieng from Olympique de Marseille. However, for now, that deal is not advancing. The club also look to have failed in their attempts to sign former AS Monaco forward Wilson Isidor from Lokomotiv Moscow. He instead looks set to join Lyon, from whom Faivre is expected to soon arrive.
