The show opens with a video recap of this past Saturday’s Revolution pay-per-view. Live in the arena, Excalibur, Jim Ross, and Tony Schiavone are on commentary from Broomfield, Colorado.
The new AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley, makes his way to the ring. He says the AEW title is beautiful because is represents professional wrestling. He says the title never belonged to Chris Jericho and it doesn’t belong to him, because it belongs to every AEW fan around the world. He says he will defend the title with his life and there is no man in the industry that can take the title from him. He says he knows it isn’t over between himself and The Inner Circle and he dares them to come after him. Jericho’s music hits and he comes to the stage with the rest of The Inner Circle. Jericho says he doesn’t need a title to be Le Champion. He says Moxley’s recklessness resulted in the Moxley Era, but he thinks the Moxley Era sucks. He says Moxley’s win was based on a lie, because he spent months training on Moxley having one eye instead of two. He says Moxley turned The Inner Circle from a group of good guys into a hit squad. He says The Inner Circle is putting the entire AEW roster on notice, because they are going to tear everybody apart and hurt some people and they will start with Moxley. He says Moxley will not leave the arena on his own two feet tonight, but if he does, Jericho will take a leave of absence for 60 days. Moxley says he is tired of hearing Jericho talk and is going to do the exact same thing to Jericho tonight and will send him packing for 60 days.

Match #1 – Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Colt Cabana and SCU (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky) vs. Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver)
Cabana and Grayson start the match and Cabana drops him to the mat. Grayson comes back with a few chops, but Cabana takes him down again. Dark Order rushes the ring and knocks SCU to the floor and quadruple-team Cabana. Uno tags in and takes Cabana to the mat. Uno goes for the cover, but Cabana kicks out. Silver tags in and runs the ropes, but Daniels gets on the apron to stop him. Sky tags in and SCU triple-team Silver and knock Dark Order to the floor. SCU and Cabana quadruple-team Silver and then Sky takes him down with a dropkick. Sky goes for the cover, but Silver kicks out. Daniels tags in and slams Silver into the corner. Silver comes back and takes Daniels to the corner, but Daniels puts him on the apron. Dark Order distract Daniels and then Uno slams him into the ring post and then tosses him into the ring and tags in. Uno slams Daniels into the corner and tags in Grayson. Grayson stomps Daniels in the corner and then Dark Order chokes Daniels in the corner as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Dark Order is still in control of Daniels. Reynolds tags in and he and Silver double team Daniels. Silver tags in and drops Daniels with a suplex and goes for the cover, but Daniels kicks out. Silver delivers an enzuigiri, but Daniels comes back and takes Silver down. Kazarian and Reynolds tag in and then all eight men begin to brawl. Uno is left in the ring with SCU and they beat him down. Reynolds gets back into the ring, but Daniels stomps him to the mat. Daniels takes Grayson out with a dive and then Kazarian drops Reynolds with a cutter. Kazarian goes for the cover, but Silver breaks it up. Uno attacks Sky from behind and then he and Silver double team Kazarian. Cabana tags in and takes Uno and Silver down with a springboard moonsault. Cabana goes for the cover, but Reynolds kicks out. Sky takes out Silver, Uno, and Grayson on the floor and then Cabana takes out Reynolds with the Chicago Skyline and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Colt Cabana and SCU
-After the match, Uno says this is not how this was supposed to go. He says the Exalted One will not be pleased and heads will roll.

Match #2 – Singles Match: Big Swole vs. Leva Bates (w/Peter Avalon)
They lock up and Swole shoves Bates away. Bates tries to hand Swole a book, but Swole throws it away. Bates slaps Swole in the face, but Peter Avalon gets on the apron. Swole knocks Avalon to the floor and then Bates hits Swole with another book. Bates delivers a Backstabber, but Swole comes back with a kick to the face. Swole kicks Bates in the back of the head and then takes her down. Swole connects with Dirty Dancing and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Big Swole

A video recap of the match between MJF and Cody at Revolution is shown. MJF won via pin fall after hitting Cody with the AEW Diamond Ring. Cody makes his way to the ring. He says he can’t say what it personally feels like to lose to MJF, but he can say what it professionally feels like. He says he doesn’t know if he can take it and the only way he can be comfortable with it is if MJF comes to the ring and tells him that he beat him fair and square. Jake “The Snake” Roberts comes to the ring. Roberts says he is tired of hearing Cody crying and bitching. He says he never cried over a match and Cody is letting MJF make him cry. He says MJF beat Cody’s ass and says he is here to slay him. Roberts says he is bringing the dark side to AEW. He says it has taken him 20 years to get clean and right and he has earned it. He says he will be on the outside of the ring when his client faces Cody, and Cody can bring Arn Anderson with him. He says what a snake wants, a snake takes. He says he is only in AEW to take Cody’s share and says he was told to never turn his back on someone he respects or is afraid of. He turns his back on Cody and leaves the ring.

Match #3 – Singles Match: PAC vs. Chuck Taylor (w/Trent and Orange Cassidy)
They lock up a few times, but neither man gets the advantage. PAC finally takes Taylor down with a side headlock take down, and then drops him again with a shoulder tackle. PAC gets out of the ring and gets in Cassidy’s face. Trent steps up, too, and then Taylor drops PAC with a dropkick. Taylor drops PAC with a power bomb and goes for the cover, but PAC kicks out. Taylor slams PAC into the corner and then delivers a back-breaker. Taylor comes off the top, but PAC dodges and sends him to the floor and into the barricade as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, PAC is in control but Taylor comes back with a clothesline. PAC comes back and comes off the ropes, but Taylor goes for a dropkick. PAC stops short and lands on his feet, but Taylor hits a dropkick away. Taylor sends PAC to the floor and then hugs Trent. Taylor tosses PAC back into the ring and delivers a Michinoku Driver. Taylor goes for the cover, but PAC kicks out. PAC comes back and drops Taylor with a cutter. PAC goes for a shot in the corner, but Taylor catches him and slams him to the mat. Taylor goes for the cover, but PAC kicks out. Taylor goes for a moonsault, but PAC moves and locks in the Brutalizer and Taylor taps out.
Winner: PAC
-After the match, Cassidy and Trent get into the ring. The Lucha Brothers come to the ring and beat down Trent and Cassidy, along with PAC. PAC says they are the Death Triangle and says everyone in AEW did this to themselves and that no one is safe. Pentagon and Rey Fenix take out Cassidy with the stomp/pile-driver combination.

Match #4 – Singles Match: Jake Hager (w/Santana and Ortiz) vs. QT Marshall (w/Brandi Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes)
Hager drops Marshall to the mat and then takes him to the corner. Hager delivers a body shot, but Marshall comes back with right hands. Marshall delivers a dropkick and comes off the ropes, but Hager takes him down to the mat. Hager slams Marshall into the corner and down to the mat. Hager delivers a knee to the midsection and goes for the Hager Bomb, but Marshall counters with boots to the face. Marshall delivers right hands and then an enzuigiri. Marshall goes up top and connects with a corkscrew senton. Marshall goes for the cover, but Hager kicks out. Marshall goes for a DDT, but Hager shoves him away and drops him with a clothesline. Hager locks in the standing arm triangle submission and Marshall passes out.
Winner: Jake Hager
-After the match, Dustin attacks Hager, but Santana and Ortiz get into the ring and neat down Dustin, along with Hager. Cody rushes the ring and delivers shots to Santana, Ortiz, and Hager, but Ortiz hits Cody with a chair. They beat Cody down until Dustin makes the save. Matt Jackson rushes the ring and delivers a superkick to Santana and one to Ortiz. Matt delivers shots to Hager, but Hager comes back and slams him to the mat. Hager, Santana, and Ortiz come back with another beat down, but Adam Page walks to the ring with a beer in hand. He sets the beer down and then attacks Ortiz, Santana, and Hager. Hager comes back and tosses Page to the apron, but Page comes back with the Buckshot Lariat. Page finishes his beer as Matt, Dustin, and Cody get back to their feet. Page and Matt get in each other’s faces and then Page leaves the ring.

A promo from MJF airs. He says he pinned Cody clean in the ring and proved he was the final chapter in Cody’s prophecy. He says he still has a whole lot of ink for his own legacy and it will read that he was the greatest World Champion in professional wrestling history. He says he will become the number one contender and doesn’t care who gets in his way. He takes off his jacket and is wearing an “I pinned Cody” shirt. He says he forgot he was wearing it, and says it is kind of distracting, like a neck tattoo.

Match #5 – Tag Team Match: Jon Moxley and Darby Allin vs. The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara)
Before the match, three masked guys attack Moxley during his entrance through the crowd. They turn out to be Hager, Santana, and Ortiz. They beat Moxley down in the concourse area.
The match tarts with Allin and Guevara. Allin takes Guevara down with a few shots and then sends him to the floor. Allin throws Guevara into the barricade and sends Jericho into the steps. Guevara comes back and takes Allin out with a knee strike in the ring. Guevara goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out as Santana, Ortiz, and Hager come to ringside. Jericho tags in and drops Allin with a back suplex. Allin comes back and takes Jericho down and gets a couple of near falls. Jericho takes Allin down again and locks in the Liontamer, but Allin makes it to the ropes. Jericho tosses Allin to the floor as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Jericho is still in control. Jericho drops Allin with a chop and tags in Guevara. Guevara and Jericho drop Allin with a double back elbow and then pose in the ring. Jericho steps on Allin before getting out of the ring and Guevara goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out. Jericho tags back in and slaps Allin in the face. Allin slaps back and delivers more shots. Allin clotheslines Jericho to the floor and takes him out with a dive. Allin tosses Jericho back into the ring, but Jericho kicks him and tags in Guevara. Guevara backs Allin into the corners and then kicks him in the back. Guevara goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out. Jericho tags in and stomps on Allin. Jericho delivers more shots and drops Allin with a back elbow. Jericho goes for the Lionsault, but Allin gets his knees up. Guevera tags in, but Allin comes back and drops him with a destroyer. Allin goes for the cover, but Guevara kicks out. Allin knocks Jericho to the floor and then sends Guevara out as well. Allin connects with a Coffin Drop onto all of The Inner Circle on the floor.
Back in the ring, Allin hits the Coffin Drop on Guevara and goes for the cover, but Jericho breaks it up. Allin sends Jericho back to the floor and dives, but Jericho hits him with the Judas Effect. Jericho tosses Allin back into the ring and Guevara gets the pin fall.
Winners: The Inner Circle
-After the match, Moxley comes to the ring with a chair and clears the ring of The Inner Circle. Hager attacks Moxley from behind and then they beat Moxley down on the ramp.
