class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>With the Reds struggling for a cutting edge at the moment, Al Hain-Cole is backing Solskjaer's star man to come up with the goods in a big FA Cup tie
Liverpool will be desperate for some inspiration when they visit Old Trafford to take on Manchester United in Sunday’s FA Cup clash.
The Reds have gone four matches without a goal in the Premier League following Thursday’s 1-0 home defeat against Burnley, although did see off an Aston Villa youth team in the last round of this competition.
Having come off the bench to score the fourth in that game, Mohamed Salah is bet365’s 7/2 (4.50) favourite to end his side’s barren run with the opener, or priced at even money (2.00) to strike anytime.
Sadio Mane was on target twice in that tie – his eighth and ninth goals of a relatively underwhelming campaign so far – and he can be backed at 6/4 (2.50) to come up with a much-needed strike here.
Divock Origi remains goalless this season after missing a big chance against Burnley on Thursday but he is on offer at 15/8 (2.88) to open his account in what is likely to be a reshuffled line-up for Jurgen Klopp’s team.
In contrast to their opponents, the Red Devils are flying high at the moment and will head into this clash fully confident of pulling off a result.
However, Anthony Martial doesn’t look the most convincing 6/1 (7.00) favourite to break the deadlock for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men given he has only hit the net three times in his last 17 fixtures, nor at 15/8 (2.88) anytime odds.
Instead, Bruno Fernandes surely offers better value at those same 15/8 (2.88) anytime odds considering he has been on target 15 times in 28 matches in all competitions so far this season.
This match should also offer an opportunity for Mason Greenwood, who has struggled for game time this campaign despite hitting 16 goals in a breakthrough season last time out.
With three goals to his name so far, he is also available at 15/8 (2.88) to offer a reminder of his own prodigious talent by firing past Liverpool on Sunday.
