When Lady Gaga catches on to a new groove, she hits the pedal to the metal.
On Tuesday, just hours after she released her “Perfect Illusion” music video during a live broadcast of Scream Queens, the 30-year-old pop star left her N.Y.C. apartment in a getup that looked right out of the brand-new art project. For her late-night outing, Gaga rocked barely-there metallic silver cutoffs with a matching gray crop top and a black peekaboo bra. She styled the two-piece outfit with leather studded boots, rounded reflective sunglasses, and a brown hat.

So why does this look seem ultra familiar? While itty-bitty denim cutoffs paired with crop tops have been her go-to pieces as of late, she also rocks them in the just-released music video. The epic, shiny pair also appears center stage in a scene during which Gaga rocks out to her song in the middle of the desert.
Recently, the singer seems to be focused on nothing but her music, taking to Instagram to share images that tease all things Joanne, the name of her soon-to-be-released fifth studio album.
