WWE has released the above video, which is a new “Hidden Gem” match recently added to WWE Network.
The match took place back in 2001 in Ohio Valley Wrestling, back when OVW was the developmental territory for WWE, and features Batista vs Kane.
Back in his OVW days, Batista competed under the ring name Leviathan, and in the clip above you can see he was in tremendous shape and is a match for the monstrous size of Kane.
From 2000-2002, Leviathan spent his time in OVW, and at the end of his run became the OVW Champion when he defeated Doug Basham. Leviathan would go on to lose the OVW Title to The Prototype, who is none other than John Cena, before being called up to the main roster in May, 2002.
