WWE NXT Superstar, Adam Cole was a guest on the E&C Pod Of Awesomeness this week where he talked about his career in detail with the WWE legends, below are some highlights.
On why it was the right time to join WWE:
“Obviously breaking into wrestling my goal was always to work for WWE, I grew up a giant fan and when I broke in I fell in love with wrestling as a whole. I loved my time on the independents but the end game for sure was ending at WWE. It was a good time for me to go, I was hitting a stride in Ring Of Honor so I thought this is a good chance. I had known there was some interest so when my contract expired we came to an agreement for me to start at NXT.”
Who he wants to work with:
“Yeah, the list of this roster is so stacked. I look at guys like Johnny Gargano who I haven’t had the chance to go toe to toe with, a guy like Velveteen Dream who is filled with charisma, Pete Dunne I feel like I’ve just scratched the surface with. What I love so much about this crew is that the main event spot is interchangeable, you can throw in so many guys and nobody would question it.”
His thoughts on the Performance Center:
“It was better than I expected, the way that ship is run is so efficient, there is constantly people available to ask questions. Going in there are seven rings, a doctor available all the time, just to see the way that place is run with all levels of learning, there are always people coming in and giving advice. I knew it was a cool facility but I didn’t expect it to be that diverse, it’s a wrestlers dream.”
