Cody took part in a ROH World Championship match at Final Battle with Jay Lethal and then an eight-man tag the next night as The Elite said their goodbyes to ROH.
The performances marked Cody’s return to the ring following his knee injury and he was asked how it felt following them on Twitter. Cody stated that with the soft brace and hardshell it felt pretty stable, but he won’t fully know until after Wrestle Kingdom. He added that he is still hoping to avoid surgery if possible.
W/the soft brace and the hardshell it felt pretty stable…we will see after the dome. I don’t want the surgery unless I absolutely need it. https://t.co/PkgJTHHZwL
