The oft-verified WrestleVotes twitter recently posted that WWE tested out newer cameras for the debut 10.4 debut on FOX Sports. The new cameras are said to bring a more “cinematic” feel to the presentation, “similar to some WWE24 footage.”
This corroborates a July 1st report from The Wrestling Observer that mentioned testing new cameras. WWE has often shown different angles than those presented on the live show, sometimes through WWE 24, sometimes through original specials.
When the move to FOX happens, expect SmackDown to be shot with different cameras. WWE tested out some newer, much more expensive technology recently and said to have liked what it produced. It will seem cinematic like, similar to some WWE24 footage.
