Biden added that he was not being “rankly partisan,” saying Trump “acknowledged from the outset that he didn’t know a lot about foreign policy.”

Biden is seen as a potential front-runner for the Democratic nomination in 2020, but so far he hasn’t said whether he will run. Previous polling has shown Trump trailing Biden and other possible nominees, such as Sens.
