Things don’t get much more glamorous than flitting your way up the staircase of New York City’s Lincoln Center on a brisk, nearly fall night in a floor-skimming skirt. Don’t believe us? Just look at Sarah Jessica Parker.
On Tuesday, the 51-year-old Divorce star channeled the character she’ll forever be associated with, Carrie Bradshaw, to attend the 2016 New York City Ballet fall gala. Parker hit the pink striped carpet in a two-tone lavender Narciso Rodriguez satin ensemble that billowed in the wind and featured a mid-sleeve design. To cap off the memorable outfit, the blonde star rocked a black pair of strappy Fugue heels from her very own SJP Collection.

SJP took in the cultural festivities with husband Matthew Broderick and described their annual post-gala tradition in a post shared to Instagram. “Our annual post @nycballet fall gala photo,” she wrote alongside an epic photograph of herself, Broderick, and friends Scott Wittman and John Benjamin Hickey sitting at the footsteps of the Lincoln Center fountain.
“Beautiful performance and accompanied by my beloved regulars. And a massive thank you to all our collaborating designers, choreographers and our sublime @nycballet dancers,” she wrote in the caption to one more silly shot of the squad together.
