Jose Mourinho’s men will be eager to get back to winning ways when they host the Swiss side at Old Trafford
Manchester United can potentially book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday when they face Young Boys in a Group H encounter.
The Red Devils are second in the table after four games and they can ensure their name is in the hat for the knockout stage draw with a win, should Juventus defeat Valencia in the other group match.
Jose Mourinho’s side come into the game against the Swiss outfit on the back of a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Crystal Palace.
However, they will take confidence from the fact that they already defeated their visitors earlier in the competition, taking a 3-0 win home from Switzerland in September.

Manchester United fans may have hoped to see a refreshed team when they returned to action after the international break, but it was more of the same from Mourinho’s men as they stumbled against Palace.
In what has become a familiar sequence, Mourinho subsequently criticised the intensity and desire – or lack thereof – of his players and has warned that they will lose against Young Boys on Tuesday if they continue in the same manner.
Defeat – or even a draw – against the Swiss outfit at home would be a blow for the Red Devils as it would jeopardise their chances of reaching the last 16, something supporters and the United board will be expecting.
However, as negative as Mourinho has been in his pronouncements, it does not seem likely, particularly when one considers the ease with which they dispatched the same opposition in Bern.
With a gruelling December ahead including games against Arsenal, Valencia and Liverpool, victory at home – and possible Champions League knockout stage qualification – will set United up perfectly.
