THE TRANSFER RUMOURS that come out of France can often end up being about as reliable as Match magazine but there is another one in La Provence today that says Toulon are lining up Danny Cipriani to share the out-half duties with Matt Giteau next season.
Given that Nicholas Sanchez is only contracted until the end of the season, and that James O’Connor is going back to Australia soon, there might be a need for another out-half in Toulon.
If nothing else, Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal is probably furious that Racing Metro have usurped his side as the big spenders of the day.
While Cipriani has had his problems in the past, he is having as good a season as ever with Sale and the thought of him at ten with Giteau at 12 is enticing.
If you put good weapons around Cipriani, he can really excel.

Toulon play some nice champagne rugby as it is, but with Cipriani on-song, it would be Moët.
