WITH ONLY ONE week of Champions Cup pool action left, we can now forecast the possible quarter-final matches without it being complete guesswork. Given the amount of tries they’ve scored thus far, if Leinster beat Wasps they will almost certainly be seeded number four.
That would mean they would host Toulouse, Bath or Glasgow but given the current form in that pool, there is a distinct possibility that it could be the English side who travel to Dublin.
Despite losing their first two games Mike Ford’s men have fought back in their pool by playing some scintillating rugby. Yesterday they travelled to Toulouse and blew them away with an exceptional performance that yielded a bonus point win.

With Kyle Eastmond and Jonathan Joseph they might have the form centre partnership in the tournament and they were both electric yesterday. Joseph’s break for the all-important fourth try was a thing of beauty.
There is still a lot of rugby left to be played in the pool stages but the prospect of Leinster vs Bath in the quarter-finals is mouth-watering.
Were Leinster to lose but pick up a losing bonus point away to Wasps they would likely have to travel to Northampton or Toulon, which would be considerably tougher than hosting Bath.
