As noted, WWE will be holding a “Greatest Royal Rumble” event on April 27th at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and the event will be headlined by a 50 man Battle Royal match, featuring the most competitors ever to compete in a WWE Royal Rumble match.
WWE Raw star Roman Reigns was a guest on the Sam Roberts Wrestling podcast this morning, and Reigns might have spoiled that the event will be airing live on WWE Network:
“I believe it’s going to be a huge network special”, said Reigns during the podcast appearance.
As of now, WWE has yet to make any announcement regarding the live event airing on the WWE Network, but we did note earlier this week that WWE will be making the Saudi Arabia event a major priority following WrestleMania 34, and big creative plans are in place for the show and the Royal Rumble match.
