Last week, we saw matches between Finn Balor & John Cena, Kane & Braun Strowman, and Elias & Matt Hardy to begin the qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber to determine who will be the number one contender to Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal Championship.
Another match has been announced today, and we will now see the “Big Dog” Roman Reigns, fresh off his loss to The Miz in their Intercontinental Championship match, will be taking on the “Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt to see who will get the fourth spot in the career-shortening match.
This coincides with a recent report, in which Dave Meltzer has said that the final three participants will most likely be Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Jason Jordan. This also further increases speculation that has long been reported that Roman Reigns will indeed be the one who challenges Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania since he is now all but guaranteed a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match.
