The roles just keep on pouring in for John Cena, who steps in 2019 hot off his first major “certified fresh” blockbuster in the red hot Transformers spin-off, Bumblebee.
It looks like this year will be even busier for the 16-time world champion pro wrestler, as Cena has landed a major part in an upcoming Netflix comedy being directed by Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, Ozark). Mark Perez, who teamed with Bateman on last year’s popular Game Night will once again handle the script.
While the project does not yet have a name, or even a released working title, the Hollywood Reporter notes that Bateman will be directing, producing and acting in the film, which features an American family trapped inside an abandoned movie studio come to life.
So… it’s Night at the Museum but in Hollywood? With John Cena?
