One of WWE’s more noteworthy talent acquisitions as of late is Io Shirai, the Japanese standout who last had a contract offer from WWE rescinded after being diagnosed with neck issues.
Now that she has been cleared by WWE medically, she has been offered a Performance Center deal alongside names such as Keith Lee and Daniel Vidot.
It’s worth noting Shirai is a very good English speaker, and unlike fellow Japanese WWE star Asuka, will not have to learn much upon entering WWE. Shirai’s mother is an English teacher and taught Shirai English at a very young age.
