The “Immortal” Hulk Hogan was interviewed at today’s media event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ahead of Thursday’s big WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view, where he will captain a team of five WWE Superstars against a squad of five rival opponents captained by fellow Hall of Famer, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
“I figured it would never end, because Flair is real good at running his mouth. If you look at the record books, he’s never beaten me. So to come here, and to keep running his mouth – he doesn’t understand. I feel like a kid again, because the fans are so excited, there’s so much energy here; I feel kind of like Hulkamania has been reborn! He doesn’t want a dose of what we’re getting ready to give him.”
Hogan also says he’s saving up his energy, because he would “love to get [his]hands on Ric Flair one more time” before it’s all said and done. He also commented on having to replace Seth Rollins as his team captain, as he was pulled from the bout to defend the Universal Championship against The Fiend in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

“Seth has been a big Hulkamaniac his whole life. One of the reasons he got into the business, he told me, was because he was such a big Hulkamaniac. He had some other commitments, such as the world title, brother, so I mean that’s kind of important. Roman Reigns has been pushing, pushing, pushing. I’ve known his family for 40 years. His dad and I travelled together forever when we first started – actually lived on Pensacola Beach together in our vans when we first started.”
