PWInsider is reporting that former-WWE Champion CM Punk has no current deal with WWE. Punk returned to WWE programming on Tuesday during WWE Backstage, shocking WWE fans and employees alike.
According to the site, Punk’s WWE Backstage deal is through Fox Sports, and not WWE. The deal was apparently put together in the last few days. While Punk will be a regular contributor to the show, he’s not going to be a weekly presence.
