This week’s post Elimination Chamber RAW starts with the 2/21/11 and a 59:59 clock counting down below it. Is it Taker? Or has WWE pulled a coup?
Cena’s music starts and he comes bouncing out, all smiles to mixed reaction. He salutes and runs for the ring. He waits in the ring, sucking up the reaction, then pointing to the WM signs hanging above the fans. He says what a day over and over again. Much heat for Cena, little pop. “Rocky!” chants. Cena says he won the Elimination Chamber last night and found out he’s going to WM. He’s facing Miz for the WWE Championship. It should have been a wonderful night filled with wine, women and song. Waking up with a headache, bad decisions. Waking up thinking about WM. But since last Monday he hasn’t been hearing about Miz. He’s been hearing about these alleged comments made by the Rock. In the gas station, people always talking about what the Rock said. Cena says he’ doesn’t know what to say. He was going to let him slide, he’s the Rock. Maybe we should look at the footage and then figure it out.
They play the clip of Austin, then the Rock, then ‘you can’t see me’ as Rock taunted Cena, then onto the Fruity Pebbles comment. Rock then tells Cena he’ll see him at WM. Cena says he was really excited to see him, but seeing it again, Rock was making fun of him. He should say something about that, right? But if he goes there, call somebody out. There’s only one way to do it. He hasn’t done it in a long time, but he still has a degree in ‘thuganomics’. Cena says he thinks they have to do it, answer the Rock, send a message. If he doesn’t then he won’t focus in Miz and WM. All he’ll hear about is Rocky. He’s going to do it once. One time deal for tonight. He checks his pipes, high notes, then a deep yo. He has his Fresno state of mind, ready to do this.
Finally the Rock came back and everyone was gettin’ with it,
’till he said I was talking trash, but he’d never be specific.
It’s because I wasn’t talking trash Rock, I was talkin’ truth,
You left us high and dry to play a fairy with a tooth?
And then you walk into this ring and tell the people that I’m lame man?
He wore lipstick in Get Shorty and wore a skirt in The Game Plan.
This Fruity Pebble that you dealin’ with? I’m not your average jabroni,
I’m like a big purple pinwheel, so go ahead and blow me.
Cena has a purple pinwheel he blows.
And your electrifying, yes, but hang with me, that’s just absurd,
Now you have to tell your family that you were schooled by Barney’s turd.
That’s your material, you can have your joke back,
Just don’t go racing to Witch Mountain Rock, because your mountain is Brokeback.
The Rock’s new movie is nothing like Walkin’ Tall,
He spends the movie in a bowling alley polishing my balls.
The People’s Champ? He’s never with the people, Rock your words are see-thru,
You imitate me every time you leave, for seven years we couldn’t see you.
And is it Rock, or is it Duane? Pick a side, come on, pick a side son.
If I was you, I’d stick with Rock, ’cause Duane ain’t got a Johnson.
And you’ll see me at WM, I’ll make sure not to miss it,
You ain’t going to whip my candy ass, I’ll make sure you kiss it.
You’re the WM host Rock, that’s your role, know it.
You tell these people that you love ’em, I’m here every week to show it.
That’s called a first round Knockout, now you know I’m not playin’,
Run your mouth all you want dude, doesn’t’ matter what you’re sayin’.
Josh and Cole talk about Cole interviewing King later about his WWE Championship Match last night. Josh goes on about Punk and JoMo facing off next.
2/21/11 is down to 45:56
– Commercial
WWE Slam Of The Week – Two weeks ago when Punk sprayed something in JoMo’s face, then attacked him.
John Morrison Vs. CM Punk
JoMo comes limping out to the ring, a little of his slo-mo entrance. Punk comes limping out to the ring, even slower than JoMo did. They show Punk’s thigh all scraped up.

Punk back in and a chop block to that right leg, then wrenches it up. Drop kick to JoMo’s right knee. Blows to JoMo on the mat, then Punk winds JoMo’s leg between his and slams to the mat for two. Punk calls for a mic. Video of the high points of this match, as Punk worked JoMo’s knee. Punk, on his knees in the ring, mic in hand gets heat. Punk calls Randall, Randall Keith Orton, where you at? Punk’s right there in the middle of his ring. He’s given his Nexus the night off. This isn’t a set up. People make decisions that effect others day in and day out. These people decided to buy a ticket to see him. Dec. 7, 2008 Orton decided to punt him in the scull, rendering him unable to defend his Championship. A few twists and turns bring them here and Orton has a decision to make. The bright lights of WM aren’t in his future. Just walk away. Orton doesn’t deserve to be at WM. It’s up to Orton to decide why. Either he’ll be too crippled after Punk beats him. Or because Orton cares about his physical wellbeing as Punk will hurt him if he shows up to RAW next week. Just walk away. If he shows to RAW next week, he’ll turn him upside-down, pour him onto the mat.
Of course the fans go wild as Orton hit’s the ring and attacks. Punk pushes out of the RKO and flees the ring. Of course Nexus is there for Punk on the ramp. Punk holds them back as Orton calls for them. “Randy!” chants. Orton’s ready as they stare through each other.

Miz and A-Ri physically taunt and threaten a staff member backstage who backs way down from them.

Miz and A-Ri out to the stage dressed in shirts and ties, but a bit more casually. Miz says last week the fans embarrassed themselves. He saw grown men jump up and down weeping like little girls over another man. That man was the Rock. Don’t get him wrong, in 1999 he remembers sitting in his Dad’s living room watching the Rock electrify. He ripped apart his opponents verbally. You can imagine his excitement when the Rock was in the ring and said his name. What classic line would Rock say about him? Then the Rock said it, the Miz absolutely, unquestionable, undoubtibly completely sucks! (sic)
Really? Really? That’s the best Rock can do? One of the best talkers in history and that’s all? He’s heard kindergarteners say worse than that. Do you people think he sucks. They do. Really? Really? Really? Well, now he’s a little hurt. Let him check his tears in the reflection of his Championship gold. Rock might be hosting, but Miz is main eventing, beating Cena.
Rock and Cena have one thing in common, their both cultural icons and the fans love them for it. Miz tells them he could care less what they think of him. They could chant that he sucks, he’s awful. He takes it one step further, it doesn’t matter what they think. He’s the most see WWE Champion in the history of this company. Can you see that? He absolutely, unquestionably, undoubtibly, 100% completely is awesome! (sic)
Ding-Ding! Cole calls for attention for the email from the RAW GM. And I quote, “Enough about the Rock, I’ll deal with him when I’m ready. However, the Rock and Sock Connection is a formidable tag team. So, tonight, the WWE Tag Team Titles will be defended against you Miz and your partner tonight, John Cena.”

Eve clotheslines a Bella, the other rolled in by Kim. Punches and kicks, the Bella whipped and Kim splashes, then comes off the ropes in a cross body on the Bella.
The fire clock has popped up on the screen to show 7 minutes left until –
Kim onto a Bella in the opposite corner, then to the apron, but the other sister pulls her off the apron, slamming her face on the way down. She slams Kim’s face over and over. Full entrance, full pyro, raising the lights and there’s a lighted version of his symbol over the ring. Off comes the hat and Triple H’s music hits. All of the green lights from the stage made Taker’s eye glow in an eerie green way that was kick ass!
Taker out in his leather jacket, jeans, t-shirt, sunglasses and bottle of water. Off comes the jacket as he comes down to the ring. Onto the apron and he stares directly at Taker. Trip then drinks, spits and poses. Into the ring, deep looks between the two men, then Trip up posing on the corner, then looking over his shoulder at Taker.
“Triple H!” chants. Trip steps up into Taker’s face. They stare each other down. Trip turns slightly, rolling his eyes up at the WM sign. Taker slowly turns to look at the sign, then slowly back to Trip. Taker slightly shakes his head, smirks, puts his hat on, shaking his head, smirking. Taker steps away from Trip and stops. Taker turns back at Trip and makes his throat cutting motion. Trip give a crotch chop back. Taker looks incredulously at Trip. The camera fades to commercial.

Cole talks about the Induction Ceremony for the HOF, then night before WM. HBK is the first announced inductee, but now – Hacksaw Jim Duggan! A great video for such a deserving man! I absolutely adore Hacksaw and always have. I think it’s great he’s being inducted. They show clips from him winning the very first Royal Rumble Match and many of him in blue with his American flag and 2X4. The Million Dollar Man will be inducting him.
Cole into the ring saying he’s interviewing King. But they won’t fight as the GM has said they’ll both be terminated. He’ll be the bigger man, a journalist. Cole is the voice of the WWE. Cole says, even sitting beside VKM, he’s better than Gordon Solie ever was. Better than Gorilla Monsoon, surely better than Jim Ross and better than King. Many don’t know that he’s a war correspondent and an Award winning journalist. So he’s going to put those journalist skills on stage interviewing King. All he asks of the fans is their attention, please.

Cole announces Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler who comes out looking rather upset, but gets huge props from the fans. King slaps some hands, then into the ring with Cole. “Jerry!” chants fill the arena.
Cole says it’s been a rough 24 hours for him, so he’ll get to the point. What was it like for King to get ready for his Elimination Chamber match. Did he have butterflies? How did he feel going into that match. King doesn’t answer.
Cole asks what King felt like when he realized his dreams would be shattered due to the most must see WWE Champion, that he wasn’t going to WM? Maybe Cole was right? Maybe he should hang up his boots for good? Did he think that? Nothing from King.
Cole says maybe he’ll answer this one. When King was in the ring last night, lying on his back, the Miz on top of him and the ref counted 1-2-3 and King was staring through the lights, through the roof, into the heavens and he realized that his decease mother – no disrespect, no disrespect – when he realized his mother had the best seat, that his dreams of WM were over? How did he feel when he realized he let his mother down.
King grabs Cole’s lapels, pulls him in and says that if Cole ever mentions his mother again, it will be the last thing he says. He’s been sitting out here for weeks, listening to Cole say he’s an old man, and sang the praises of his thumb sucking friends. Just remember this Cole, King’s forgotten more about this game than Cole and his friends will ever know. Cole says King won’t compete at WM? King says he’s wrong. He has a way in and doesn’t care if it gets him fired. He’s issuing a challenge, King versus Cole. What does Cole say?
Cole, regaining his composure after being scared off his ass in King’s grips, calls King a senile old man! He’ll never get Cole in the ring, ever. Cole flees to announce. Says he’s going to do his job. King says Cole runs his mouth like a tough guy. Be a man, show everybody what he’s got. Is Cole going to be a man or a gutless yellow coward? Off comes the headset, the coat. Then Cole says he’s sick of King and throws his drink in King’s face. Cole then runs for his life. King takes a few steps, but not many, but Cole keeps running. “Jerry!” chants.
