— Finlay, who is believed to be semi-retired from in-ring competition, is working this weekend’s SmackDown house show loop. Newcomer Alberto Del Rio pinned the former United States Champion at last night’s live event with his feet on the ropes.
— Kelly Kelly reportedly suffered an injury at last night’s SmackDown house show in Portland, Maine.
Facing WWE Women’s Champion Layla, she was injured receiving a dropkick to either the back of her shoulder or neck. The bout was prematurely concluded by the referee. The SmackDown Diva was then assisted to the backstage area by medical personnel.
