TNA taped matches and segments for future episodes of Impact Wrestling on Pop TV on Thursday night, April 21, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. Below are spoiler results from the tapings, which will begin airing on Impact Wrestling episodes starting Tuesday, May 3rd.
– Eddie Edwards def. Caleb Konley in what might have been a dark match
– James Storm cut a promo about how he is now a singles wrestler
– Mike Bennett and Jeff Hardy had a confrontation that led to a one-on-one match.
– Jeff Hardy def. Mike Bennett via Disqualification. The finish saw Bobby Lashley do a run-in and spear Hardy.
– James Storm def. Abyss in singles action. Abyss has new face paint and was accompanied by The Decay in this match. All members of The Decay also have new looks.
– Jade def. Sienna in Knockouts action. Sienna was making her debut. She was formerly known as Allysin Kay, a 28-year-old veteran of the AIW, Shimmer and SHINE promotions, among others.
– Trevor Lee def. Mandrews to retain the X-Division title.
– Bram def. Eli Drake, Jessie Godderz, Robbie E. and Andrew Everett to retain the King Of The Mountain title. After the match, Eli Drake attacked Bram.
– Jeff Hardy and Bobby Lashley fought to a “No Contest” in a TNA World Title match that featured Drew Galloway as the special referee. The match saw Mike Bennett interfere. Lashley and Galloway also got into it during the match. It appears they are setting up for a Hardy/Galloway vs. Lashley/Bennett match.
– Ethan Carter III def. Rockstar Spud in a steel cage match in the final match taped on Thursday evening. Mike Bennett was out supporting Rockstar Spud during the match.
