At Tuesday’s WrestleMania 32 press conference in Orlando, FL, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena commented on his status for the biggest pay-per-view of the year. Cena revealed that he will in fact miss WrestleMania 32 due to his shoulder injury, despite speculation online.
“For the first time in a decade in a half, this year I will be watching and not wrestling at WrestleMania,” Cena told the press. “WrestleMania means the world to me.”
Cena has previously returned from past injuries faster than originally expected, which lead to rumors that he may make a surprise appearance at ‘Mania.
