New NXT UK Women's & Tag-Team Champions Crowned, Triple H Comments

Titles changed hands at the second NXT UK TakeOver special this weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, WWE presented their NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff live special on the WWE Network from the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales.

During the show, two championships changed hands.

First, the team of Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster came out on top in their three-way battle against Gallus and the now former NXT UK Tag-Team Champions, The Grizzled Young Veterans.

With the win, the duo becomes the first-ever Welsh-born champions in WWE history.

After the match, Triple H took his usual backstage photo with the new champions. Check it out via the following tweet he posted during the show on Saturday afternoon.

Additionally, Kay Lee Ray defeated Toni Storm in the co-main event of the live special to become the brand new NXT UK Women’s Champion.
