After SummerSlam went off the air, New WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns continued his celebration in The Barclays Center in Brooklyn last night. Braun Strowman stood up as Reigns left and slowly limped to the back, stopping on the stage to gather his Money In the Bank Briefcase that was tossed by Brock Lesnar earlier in the night. Strowman turned and looked back at the crowd before making his exit.
Shane McMahon and Ric Flair were both backstage at the event, as was Teddy Hart.
The outfits worn by both Charlotte Flair and Carmella were specifically in honor of the late Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.
A sold out crowd of 16,169 fans was announced for last night’s SummerSlam PPV Event from The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. WWE announced 16,128 for the same show in the same venue last year, 15,974 fans for The SummerSlam 2016 show and 15,702 fans for The SummerSlam 2015 show.
