Netflix announced tonight that it has renewed “GLOW” for a second season, ten episodes in length. No further details are available. The show focuses on the campy mid-1980s women’s pro wrestling syndicated show created by David McLane. “GLOW” stands for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
The show was created and produced by Kenji Kohan who also created and produced the critically acclaimed and popular series for Netflix “Orange is the New Black.”
“GLOW” has a five-star rating on “Rotten Tomatoes,” a 93 percent thumbs up from Google users, and a four-star average Meta Critic rating.
