During WrestleMania 35, Sasha Banks and Bayley lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships to The IIconics. Bayley has since been moved to SmackDown, but Banks has not appeared on television since WrestleMania. The former Raw Women’s Champion reportedly attempted to quit WWE during the event, but company officials then gave her the option to go home and reconsider her decision. The details surrounding Banks’ attitude during WrestleMania 35 have been met with skepticism from some, but the popular rumor is that Banks and Bayley both made a scene when they learned about losing the tag team titles. Some have even claimed that Banks and Bayley were on the floor in the locker room and their hotel complaining about dropping the titles.
FYI… No tantrum ever happened

That report has been slightly addressed now by Banks’ husband, Mikaze. He took to Twitter this week to deny that Banks threw a tantrum in response to dropping the Women’s Tag Team Championships last month. He also posted a message on Instagram encouraging his wife to keep on fighting for what she believes is right. Banks is reportedly staying at home and won’t be back for WWE’s European tour or this month’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Banks has reportedly been upset with his position in the company for a number of months now, but WWE isn’t likely to grant her a release out of fear that she will join another wrestling promotion. Banks is still said to have months left to go on her current WWE contract.

All Elite Wrestling officials confirmed this week that the pre-show battle royal has been renamed the “Casino Battle Royale.” The match will take place on the Double or Nothing pre-show, and several notable name will be involved in the match. Those involved in the match now have a major incentive to win as it has just been confirmed that the winner of the battle royal will receive the opportunity to compete for AEW’s world championship. The news was announced on this week’s “Road to Double or Nothing” episode on YouTube. What’s interesting is that the stipulation states that the battle royal winner will face the “newly crowned” champ. AEW has not crowned its first world champion yet, but the title has been created.
