The recent divorce between WWE announcer David Otunga and entertainer Jennifer Hudson has not been a very amicable one. The formerly married couple have publicly made several different accusations against each other, and a custody battle over their son has managed to turn real ugly. TMZ is now reporting that Jennifer Hudson wants Otunga to find a “steady job.” Otunga reportedly is frustrated by this since Hudson apparently made him choose between his in-ring career and his family a while ago. David Otunga has since claimed that his ex-wife is choosing to make the issues between them about money while his only concern is looking after their child.
Enzo Amore already was one of the most divisive wrestlers in the world when he was a member of the WWE roster. Several fans praised Enzo for his promo work and unique look. Meanwhile, others found WWE’s choice to push him as the top star of the 205 Live brand to be troubling. Some fans (and reportedly even a few members of the WWE roster) also considered Amore to be a nuisance. He had been the Cruiserweight Champion, but he was fired from the company last week when WWE discovered that he had neglected to inform the company that he was being investigated by the police for an alleged sexual assault claim. Days later, WWE appears to truly be finished associating themselves with Enzo.
WWE’s production trucks travel from city to city every single week, and they all proudly display images of WWE Superstars. Enzo Amore is no longer featured on those trucks. Fans have posted numerous images on social media showing Enzo’s former spot on a production truck next to Big Cass ripped off the truck’s side. To go from holding the Cruiserweight Championship as a top star on 205 Live one week to being fired and then going unmentioned by the company shows that WWE has definitely taken the allegation against Amore seriously. 205 Live will be receiving a General Manager this Tuesday night. The new GM will then announce what the plans for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship will be.
