A fake German heiress who swindled rich friends, hotels, banks, and a private jet operator has been jailed for between four and 12 years.
Anna Sorokin, 28, had been found guilty of charges including grand larceny in New York last month.
The glamorous grifter was born in Russia. the daughter of a truck driver, before moving to Germany as a teenager with her family.
She then arrived in Manhattan where she called herself Anna Delvey and posed as a socialite in expensive clothes.
Prosecutors said she conned others out of about $275,000 while pretending she had $67 million in assets abroad.
They accused her of using forged bank statements to seek a loan of $22 million to open a private arts club.
She also tricked a friend into covering bills for $62,000 at the end of their six-night luxury trip to Morocco.

Justice Diane Kiesel. sentencing her at Manhattan Supreme Court, said: "I am stunned by the depths of the defendant’s deception, her labyrinthine lies that kept her con afloat."
The judge said Sorokin had been "blinded by the glitter and glamour of New York City".
Sorokin, 28, wearing a long-sleeve black dress, told the court: "I apologise for the mistakes I made."
As she was sentenced Sorokin pressed her hand to her face and squeezed her eyes shut, appearing to hold back tears.
During a month-long trial Sorokin employed a stylist to dress her for court appearances in designer clothes by Yves Saint Laurent and Victoria Beckham.
In a statement US Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Sorokin was a German citizen who had illegally overstayed in the United States.
The agency said it would seek to send her back to Germany once her criminal proceedings are over.
High profile television writers Shonda Rhimes and Lena Dunham are separately working on projects to adapt the Anna Delvey story for the screen.
