Bryan vs. Shane at WrestleMania? Daniels & Kaz News, Harper

Rumors on the potential main event for WrestleMania 35 in April have already begun to surface. However, there may be another match for the event currently in the works. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were talks about possibly having a match between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon at WWE’s biggest event of the year in 2019. The idea was brought up after it was implied that Shane turned heel upon winning the World Cup tournament at Crown Jewel. However, it was also noted that the match may have been scrapped already following Daniel Bryan’s recent title win and heel turn. It is still certainly possible that these two top performers on the SmackDown roster could begin feuding very soon.
Christoper Daniels and Frankie Kazarian have been entertaining fans all over the world for years across numerous promotions, and the two of them still continue to compete together in Ring of Honor right now. Despite this, it was noted in the newest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the two SCU members have not signed new ROH deals for 2019 despite receiving offers from the promotion. Kazarian is currently an ROH Tag Team Champion along with Scorpio Sky, and the Observer noted that Daniels still has yet to make a decision on whether or not he’ll stay with ROH. It is possible that these two in-ring veterans could be on their way out of ROH? The answer to that questions will likely be revealed by the end of the year.
When Rowan went down with an injury earlier this year, it essentially sent SmackDown’s Bludgeon Brothers tag team on hiatus. It even appeared as if Rowan’s tag team partner, Harper, was in the process of reuniting with Bray Wyatt on the Raw brand, but that may be off the table now due to an injury to the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion. An update provided by the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that Harper is currently recovering from a recent wrist surgery. Harper had the surgery since he has been mostly inactive from in-ring competition ever since Rowan tore his right bicep a few months ago. Unfortunately, there is still no word on when Harper will be ready to come back.
