Evgeniya Artamonova Estes has retired from volleyball. All that I could give as a volleyball player – I’ve given, she said.
She recently requested, and was granted, a release from her contract with her longtime club team Uralochka and plans to join her family in the USA.

Honors: The best volleyball player in Europe in 1998. The world’s only volleyball player, who took part in six Olympic Games.

Bronze medalist at the World Championships (1994, 1998, 2002).
Medalist of World Cups (1991 and 1999).
Three-time winner (1997, 1999, 2002) and six-time silver/bronze medalist of the Grand Prix.
Four-time European champion (1993, 1997, 1999, 2001).
