Party Like 'Real Housewives' With NYC Guide To Show's Hotspots

Posted on May 16, 2020

NEW YORK, NY – A pinot grigio-soaked tour of the restaurants, bars and stores at the center of the hugely popular reality show “Real Housewives Of New York City” is being offered by the city’s official tourism arm.

NYC & Co. has put together alist of 12 spots that feature in some of the most memorable moments of the girls-behaving-badly show that’s currently in its tenth season on Bravo.

“From tagline and ‘turtle time’ to scattering their dogs’ ashes in the East River, the cast members of the Real Housewives of New York City have had some memorable NYC moments throughout their 10 seasons of parties, fights and subsequent makeups,” the introduction to NYC & Co’s online guide says.

“Even if the ‘wives sometimes come off as less than genuine, they manage to visit some very real New York City places — all in the name of pinot grigio. So don’t be all uncool; visit the spots where it all went down.”

The tour includes:

The famed Midtown spot hosted the wives’ first reunion, where such classic lines as “Are you a moron?” and “You are a little bit all show and no go” were coined, the guide says.

Brass Monkey

55 Little W. 12th St.

The Meatpacking spot was the scene of the Kelly Bensimon’s fight with Bethenny Frankel in season 2’s “Kelly vs. Bethenny.”

Zarin Fabrics

Jill Zarin’s family business was the scene of a cocktail party in season 2’s “Wife in the Fast Lane.”

In season 3’s “The Ambush,” Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer take a walk across the famous bridge, with their conversation including the delightful line: “At least I have friends; you have no friends.”

Le Cirque

151 E. 58th St.

This circus-themed restaurant, which NYC & Co. says is set to reopen, was the spot where Aviva Drescher hurled her prosthetic leg across the dining room in season 6’s “The Last Leg.”

Dos Caminos

675 Hudson St.

The Meatpacking Mexican spot was the place where Bethenny’s catchphrase “get off my jock” was uttered in season 7’s “Battle of the Brunches.”

Top of the Strand

Marriott Vacation Club Pulse

The housewives mingled with a skyline view at a party in this bar that was described as “a reason to buy a dress and get a martini” in Season 7’s “New Beginnings, My A**.”

Loews Regency New York

A favorite drinking spot for the housewives.

Zero Otto Nove
