BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Goodbye, neighborhood drug dealer. Hello, designer department store weed. Wait, what? Luxury department store Barneys New York is diving into designer drugs with its own marijuana shop called the High End – set to open in Beverly Hills in March.

It’s a move meant to woo Instagram influencers, with plans to open other locations in California, the New York Times reported. But, like most other things at Barneys, it’ll cost a pretty penny.
The High End will offer luxe smoker’s paraphernalia and the marijuana itself, including a $950 bong and a $1,475 sterling silver pot grinder, the newspaper reported.
“Barneys New York has always been at the forefront of shifts in culture and lifestyle, and cannabis is no exception,” Daniella Vitale, Chief Executive Officer & President, Barneys New York said in a press release. “Many of our customers have made cannabis a part of their lifestyle, and The High End caters to their needs with extraordinary products and service they experience in every facet of Barneys New York.”
The marijuana shop will also offer a curation of vintage accessories like lighters, trays, cases and more, the press release said. For the CBD enthusiasts who want to skip the high and go straight for the relaxation, there will be a variety of CBD-infused beauty and scented products.
Barneys New York is partnering with the upscale cannabis company Beboe to offer customers their vaporizer pens and pastilles along with CBD products. Beboe also partnered with “premium cannabis lifestyle brand” Sherbinskis to develop a new strain of cannabis, the press release said.
Customers who visit the High End can learn more about their products and purchase from Beboe through their white glove delivery service, Emjay, the statement read.

Barneys has never been shy about pushing creative boundaries in retail, and it makes perfect sense that they would be the first to support and elevate cannabis to new levels,” Scott Campbell, co-founder of Beboe, said in a statement.
The High End will be located on the fifth floor of Barneys New York Beverly Hills.
