Après les témoignages de nombreuses actrices, parmi lesquelles Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale ou encore Rose Mc Gowan, c’est au tour de Marion Cotillard de sortir du silence. Ce lundi 16 octobre, elle a publié un long message, en anglais, sur son compte instagram, accompagné d’un fond blanc à la place de la photo. « Plus d’une fois, au cours de ma carrière, j’ai été confrontée à une situation dans laquelle j’ai dû éviter des prédateurs. Toutes les femmes courageuses qui ont pris la parole ouvrent, je l’espère, un nouveau chapitre. J’ai beaucoup de respect pour elles et je les soutiens de tout mon cœur. Il est temps de déconstruire un système horrifiant. Il est temps pour que les femmes ET les hommes dénoncent cela si fort que nous puissions créer un profond changement et ces choses horribles n’arrivent plus jamais. Il est temps de faire notre examen de consciences et de se demander jusqu’où avons-nous toléré ces abus ? Il est temps de guérir », a déclaré l’actrice, qui a elle-même eu l’occasion de travailler avec le producteur américain.

Important for These beautiful women. What soften the deep sadness I feel today is that they are on a path of reconciliation and they will rise stronger. They are opening our eyes and heart, and all the souls that were harmed this way will know from now on that they are supported.
