In what appears to be another case on honour killing, a 22-year-old Telangana woman was allegedly murdered by her parents for marrying outside her caste. The girl identified as P Anuradha was burnt alive by her parents for marrying her boyfriend of four years in a temple.
The incident took place in Kalamadugu village of Mancherial district, about 250 km from Hyderabad. Police said P Anuradha’s parents killed her with the help of their relatives, burnt the body and threw the ashes in a stream.
