The brand in a statement said that the new site, developed in collaboration with interactive marketing specialist createthegroup, is now “turning to the hottest trends in website technology, from social networking to blogging, to further unite the masses that worship this global brand”.
Additions are Club Couture, Juicy’s new online community where members can interact with the site and with each other; and Love G&P, a personal blog of co-founders, and creative directors Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, where they offer their latest product finds, favorite new obsessions, Juicy news and “hot music picks”. Love G&P will also allow Juicy fans to communicate with the duo directly and post their own comments. “With the new JuicyCouture.com, the Juicy girl can jump even further into the wonderful world of Juicy, like Alice in Wonderland,” said Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor. “We’ve provided a showcase for Juicy’s fantastic campaign imagery, but kept the shopping elements accessible and present throughout the site,” says Tony King, chief creative officer of createthe group. “Juicy has an incredible fan base that loves the brand for their products, but also the lifestyle it captures.”
