The Weeknd Just Posted 10 Photos of Bella Hadid and Most of Them Are Full of Hardcore PDA

Did you know that it’s Bella Hadid’s birthday?

No? Well, thank goodness The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) had access to an Instagram account and Wifi this morning because he’s here to make sure it’s seared into your brain — 10 times over at that.

You see, after a Selena Gomez-sized interlude, Hadid and The Weeknd continued their romantic melody, appearing to pick up things right where they left off when the two parted ways in November 2016 (let’s be honest, weren’t we all in need of an emotional breather around that time?). Phase two of their very much on-again relationship was confirmed in May 2018 when they were photographed displaying a little PDA. Okay, a lot of PDA.

And where there’s smoke, OH MY GOD THERE’S SO MUCH PDA. Case in point: The Weeknd had so many photos of his now-22-year-old girlfriend that he couldn’t choose just one to celebrate her big day on Oct. 9. So instead, he chose 10. And there’s no telling how many he would have chosen if the Instagram carousel hadn’t decided to cap the number of pics you could share in a single post.

He’s never posted a photo Hadid in the past, so we guess he was just banking them for this most-special of occasions.

Anyone who’s ever bawled along to a song by the emotionally-in-touch crooner knows that he can write a good lick, but for this occasion, he let the pictures do the talking for him (if our math is correct, the post is worth approximately 10,000 words), writing only in the caption: “happy birthday Angel,” with a black and red heart.

Who’s to say if “Angel” is a pet name he has for Hadid, or if he’s simply referring to the fact that she’s literally a Victoria’s Secret Angel, but I’ll be darned if it isn’t the cutest.
